ReplyDeleteI definitely agree, I think if it was less over-satuated/HDR and masking on the model with natural feeling, it would look a lot better.
ReplyDeleteI like the concept, location, model, and equipments. I think the picture looks almost overstated and HDR mix up in it. Or if that's your style, I understand.

ReplyDeleteyou can with Photomatix pro its easy to use the progradoes everyhting for you or you can try tweaking it your self. i use lightroom 3 with is very easy and photo matix pro for HDR

ReplyDeletei agree with you. natural is not in demand. every major magazine and celebrity is post processing, changing features, adding colors. look at joel grimes, he shoots a photo and changes the background altogether. people are fascinated with brilliant lighting and stunning post processing. natural was good when photoshop didnt exist. look at all the photography workshops and seminars, its all about artifical lighting and photoshop. nobody cares for natural light anymore.
ReplyDeletenatural is boring. just like david la chepelle said: "if u want reality take the bus". This is a popular style. HDR is in demand. look around u. every1 is trying to learn HDR. any1 can pick up a camera and shoot natural light. its just boring. photoshop is now a major part of photography and the world we live in.. those who bash post processing on photos are usually the ones who can't achieve these results. this is the style of photography im trying to learn.
ReplyDeleteRespectful video, but for the calibre of the model, I was expecting a lot more from the photos. Natural light trumps strobes in this situation. I respect both, but take a look at jordan voth. Completely natural shots, I really think that type of look would have worked with this model, because the shots shown in the video are completely overdone and look almost HDR ish.
