EatAudio Sound and Lighting: Full Lighting Show

EatAudio Sound and Lighting: Full Lighting Show - outdoor lighting

EatAudio Sound and Lighting: Full Lighting Show

This is my full lighting show with 90 lighting fixtures all controlled by a single Windows XP based PC using the DMX Control software by Stefan Krupop. Absolutely brilliant, perhaps not entirely stable when using the MadMaxOne Matrix Plug-In, but I was so thoroughly impressed by what it could achieve! If you are in a band, a DJ, or organising your own indoor or outdoor music festival in the UK, then this lighting show is FOR HIRE! Best suited for audience sizes from 300 to 2000 people. 3000 at a push. It usually takes a day to set up, and can optionally come with a 15000 watt Peavey Versarray sound system (40 channel FOH desk and optional monitor mix). This video is good, but doesn't really do the show ANY justice! It's something that has to be experienced. Get in touch to find out more. Highlights include the 10 moving heads, the lasers - particularly the Laser Know How RGB 2200 full colour laser, and of course the Verticolor matrix at the back of the stage. Unfortunately due to the nature of ultra violet light it tends to show up on the camera as blue - which is why everything can appear a little heavy in the blue department. As if that wasn't enough - I wrote all the music for this video! Software: DMX Control, MadMaxOne Matrix Plug-In, www.dmxcontrol.de Hardware: 20 meters tri truss, 8 meters ladder truss 90 Lighting fixtures including: ● 1 x Aurora Afterglow 2 USB DMX Interface ● 1 x Martin 4-way Optically Isolated DMX Splitter ● 10 x Prolight iMove 5S Moving ...

The High Pressure Sodium Lamp (HPS) - outdoor lighting

The High Pressure Sodium Lamp (HPS)

How it works, inventors, variations. This lamp is the most popular lamp for street and outdoor lighting in the world due to its high efficiency and acceptable color rendering. The lamp has an arc tube made of Lucalox. It uses mercury and sodium vapor combined to create a yellow-pink light. It was invented in Schenectady and Nela Park. 1. Do you know what people say when I do a live show or hire? "This looks amazing!", and not once have I heard "This is over kill". You design a few light shows and I'll let you know what I think! :P

  2. Slight over kill.... Didnt really see the point if all the equipment towards the back when you have everything on the front truss strobing... you can't see anything else... :-/

Very unhealthy truss, me thinks a little too much weight for that span length... :-S

  3. If you check my other videos you'll see they're inverted up right and hung. Same programmes. It was set up like that mainly because it had to look good when all the moving heads were hung due to limited stage space.

  5. If you're referring to the moving heads they are iMove 5s moving heads.

  7. WHAT ARE THE 1:50 LIGHTS CALLED?

  8. Why all 10 movers flown? Put 4 on the ground, or even better, at different ground heights. Adds alot of texture.

  9. Just a kink, no biggy. Seven months on it can still take my entire weight.

  10. That truss doesn't seem healthy

  11. See if you can get a 1.5W red, 1W blue and 200mW green. That should balance the colour better!

  12. I was thing of getting their 2.5 RGB so it's a nice demo for me.

  14. The 2.2 is 1W blue, 1W red and 200mW green. The video doesn't really do it justice but I am considering replacing the red with something brighter. The blue and green elements are very striking, but as red is received least well by the eye the yellows and orange shades don't come out very well when colour mixing.

  18. Херня. Очень мало общего между звуковой дорожкой и светом. Очень мало динамического света под такую музыку. Сопливо и жутко вяло, хотя местами доставляет.

  22. I think you'd be sagging a bit in the middle if you had a 15kg RGB laser hanging from you too!

I caught the amalgam thing during shooting but he wanted to say it his way. It is like when GE told Steinmetz no smoking, and the reply was: "No cigar, no Steinmetz"... ok ok

  27. FYI, amalgam is pronounced: Uh mal' gum, not Am' uhl gam.
