Question: When you mentioned that the reflector created a key light instead of a fill on the wrong side of the face, you mentioned that it was the wrong side. Is their a wrong or right side to key light a object or was it because a reflector is normally used for a fill?

Get the terms right that for one is NOT a scrim.. Its was a solid white fabric or nylon screen.. A scrim is Translucent or lets SOME light through... What you did was only shade the subject.. A scrim is something like a large silk that is hung above the subject...
