Keychain Mini DVR Spycam Test Footage 720x480 - outdoor lighting

Keychain Mini DVR Spycam Test Footage 720x480

Test footage from MINI DV YSB-006 Keychain Spy Camera similar to the one seen at www.chinavasion.com Camera is 720x480 resolution with built in audio. This test shows static in-store shot and a longer driving shot to show how it changes with different lighting conditions. The camera works best in outdoor lighting rather than indoor dim lighting. The Time and Date was not correct, but can easily be changed through a txt file. 15mins of footage will use up just a little over 1GB in storage. Overall the design is really nice and the quality is really good for the size of the device. Makes a great spycam or even a dashboard camera. The raw footage had to be compressed and edited together in order to upload online, therefore the original footage is much more clear and crisp. You can find similar footage at www.youtube.com . The only difference is the video resolution is only 640x480 and is 4GB storage max. But still looks much the same.

  1. He says that the natural light, but uses LED panels and still says that the natural light. Here I am a fool, or he keeps all the other fools?

  6. I love the picture at 1:04, I like the green background, the background itself, and the contrast in colours between the background and the foreground. The model is nice looking also.

  8. Oh my god, the last shot was lit with an artificial light, probably a strobe in an umbrella, not "natural Light:" ie sun.

You have to write a .txt file that you save to the root of the memory card while it's plugged into the keychain. All you need in the .txt file is the following

    [date]
    2009/07/22
    12:00:00

just save the file as TAG.TXT on the root and it should work. Some keychains might be different but you should have rec'd software or at least a booklet that tells you how to do this.

ya it's pretty cool stuff. It's too bad people will know about these devices and wont be so hidden anymore.

I just got a spy pen about a month ago and after testing, it seems like they both have their advantage and disadvantages. The keychain is smaller, yet the pen looks like a real pen. So depending on your situation, they both are pretty good for what you're paying for.

I think you can record as long as the battery or memory card allows. But the battery life kinda sucks, less than an hour.

  34. can you get one of these on another website other than ebay? like best buy?

  35. Very simple. I placed a piece of velcro on the keychain and dashboard. Have also tried with some cars you can stick it in between the roof and sun visor. Since it's very light, it will not move much at all.

  36. I could get this including shipping for under 10 bucks.
